Susquehanna Insurance was founded in 1996. The agency was started from humble beginnings with no policies, just a desire to help the Lancaster PA community find better insurance. The agency has grown over the past 27 years to 10 employees and two locations with the headquarters in Lancaster PA and our second office in Lititz PA.

The main company we work with is Erie Insurance. Erie insurance is one of the top Insurance companies in Lancaster and Central Pennsylvania in terms of coverages they provide, their excellent claims department, and their pricing. Erie Insurance is a regional carrier meaning that they do not write in every state which allows them to avoid big large events such as hurricanes in the south, and wildfires in the west.
Locations
We offer two convenient locations for our customers. We value the importance of face-to-face meetings and getting to know our customers on a personal basis. Our Lancaster office is located off Manheim pike. In this office, we house our health insurance department, as well as our personal lines, and commercial department. In Lititz, we have an office a few blocks off of main street and in this office, we are excited to help you with all of your personal lines and business insurance needs. We recently moved to Lititz when we purchased Affinity Insurance in 2021. Lititz PA is the coolest small town in the area and we are so excited to be a part of the community.

We can provide policies to cover commercial auto, property, liability, workers’ compensation, professional liability, cyber liability, employment practices liability, bonds, builders risk, and a variety of other coverages. We write commercial insurance with Erie Insurance, Philadelphia Insurance, Liberty Mutual, Eastern Alliance, and many others.
Benefits & Health Insurance
Susquehanna Insurance has a benefits department and is ready to help you with group health insurance, including medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and short-term disability. We also write insurance for individuals and Medicare clients. For our individuals, we can help you both on and off the marketplace. Our team has a wealth of knowledge about Medicare and we have become a go-to in Lancaster and Lititz PA for educating talks on how Medicare A and B works and why they will need to buy a Medicare supplement or Advantage plan to fill in the gaps that Medicare does not cover.
